I was born in Siofok, 1977 so the 3rd “x” is balefully coming.
I live in Budapest, the capital of HA but my station is in Nagybereny 110km SW, nr the Lake Balaton. The coordinates for Google Earth is Lat: 46°48'2.46"N Long: 18° 9'19.08"E but unfortunately the resolution is not so good at that area.

My profession is telecom engineer and working for Ericsson Hungary as 3G RF engineer. My main role is starting from designing all over to final optimization of the mobile networks. So if you have dropped call I may have a hand in it… :-)
My first meet with ham radio is dated around 1990 thanks to Arpad HA3IU who is/was my master with great passionate way. It was not too difficult for me to take to this life especially when I realized its flavour. On the first time we were SWLing on 20m @HA3KGF club station and we found an EA3 from Barcelona…we could reach him in no time… this was very determinative experience. I licensed in 1992 as HA3LN since then I have extra class. Furthermore I hold HG3G too as contest call. My first QSO is dated back to 19/Jan/1996 with YO2BBX on 80m. My main interest is CW/SSB contesting on the 6 traditional bands and want to get into RTTY yet.
My time recently is very limited because of work and long travelling but hence I’m able to be active from all over the world. Currently I’m in Australia holding VK4ADF in Brisbane, Queensland. As the project allows me I try to be active in major contests together with the local guys. Now I see the real situation down here about contesting… it’s not an easy business to operate from VK at all although that’s great having endless JA stream over and over all day long…
So this is a short brief...
